Jennifer Isaacs received her BA in English and Bachelor's in Music Performance from UMass Amherst, where she also studied composition with Jeff Holmes. After Undergrad, she was accepted to NYU's Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program for her work as a composer/lyricist/ arranger on her original musical Wrench. At UMass, she met her favorite musical collaborators, Iron City Jazz and The Attics. She has worked as a Teaching Artist at Bronx Theatre High School, The Playwrights Theatre of NJ, and The South Orange Performing Arts Center. She teaches private voice lessons and has wrote and directed over two dozen shows with young actors. In addition to performing, she has co/produced and recorded several albums of traditional and reimagined jazz standards. Her last album of original jazz/pop/R&B crossover songs, The Rise and the Run, can be heard on soundcloud and bandcamp.
